Willoughby Frontier Days is a non-profit
organization made up of dedicated volunteers that selflessly give hundreds
of hours each year benefiting Willoughby and it's community. One of our most
worthy achievements each year is the presentation of the Sheffield-Stafford
Jr. Memorial Scholarship established in 1990. We take great pride in this as
not only does it memorialize two great men in Mr. Glen Sheffield and Mr.
Kenneth F. Stafford Jr., but it also gives a young mind a chance to grow.
Besides our scholarship, in past years, Willoughby Frontier Days also:
donated money to both North and South High Schools After Proms, sponsored
Willoughby Little League Teams, donated to the Willoughby D.A.R.E. program,
donated money to the Little Red School House and the Eleanor Rolf
Educational Center, monetarily aided several Willoughby Families that were
fire victims, organized and donated to the Courtney Collins Fund raising 265
thousand dollars to treat her rare bone marrow disease, and physically
helped build and raise the funds for the Gazebo located at Wes Point Park in
Downtown Willoughby. This is just to name a few of the wonderful things we
have been able to accomplish! In our giving, we have worked with some
outstanding groups and organizations such as: the City of Willoughby, the
Willoughby Area Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion, the Elks, the
Kiwanis, the Lions, the V.F.W. and many of the local area merchants. If
you wish to join us or make a donation, please email
us here. Our mailing address is
